  1. On 17:20, I found a Slippery Slope. If we find allies in syria than we could give them weapons, but we cant give them weapons that will end up in the wrong hands and than we could take down Asad (I spelled that name wrong) To me this looked a little like slippery slope, but please correct me if I am wrong.

  2. I also found a slippery slope but the time is 7:17. If we got the Muslim world to reject extremism we would just be lining up more arguments to just to help do that. Also if we took out the leaders in the other country's it would also create more arguments after they are killed.

  3. 6:44-7:02 Argumentum ad hominem
Attacking the character or motives of a person who has stated an idea rather than the idea itself.
By Obama saying that Romney's ideas are all over the place he is attacking Romney and his motives rather than romneys plans.

  4. Argumentum Ad nauseam
Argument to the point of disgust;i.e, by repetition
I don't have a time, but I remember from watching it that there were multiple times where Romney was asked about something and he would just refer back to his 5 point plan.

  5. 9:00-10:49

Both happened within a minute of each other. So this time is for both of these fallacies.

Tu Quoque: pointing out your opponents error.
When Obama totally burns Romney after Romney says that Russia is the biggest threat instead of Al-Qaeda. He totally shuts him down when Obama said that the Cold War has been over for 20 years.

Ad Hominem: attacking the person not the idea. After Obama burns Romney, he goes on to extend his statement about the Cold War and how the 1980's want their foreign policies back. Hes more interesting in attacking Romney, than the actual idea of their topic. (Romney even goes on to say that attacking him is not on the agenda.)

There are so many fallacies in here its mind blowing, and very humorous.

  6. I found the Ad Hominem fallacy at 6:53. Obama stops talking about al qaeda and states that Romney's strategy is "all over the map".

    1. I would agree with that Ad Hominem because Obama does stop talking about Al Qaeda and attacks Romney's strategy.

  7. between the times around 9:00 and 10:30 ad hominem is used when Obama is pointing out how Romney keeps going back on his word, and every time he's had an opinion he's been wrong. Obama points how a week ago Romney said Russia was a threat, but now he's saying Alkyda is our threat right now. As Obama is showing all his mistakes he said that Romney is confusing our allies and our troops.

  8. 24:13-26:50
Red Herring:when the arguer diverts the attention by changing the subject.
Romney starts to answer the question and then starts to talk about the military and other things like that

  9. Argumentum Ad nauseam and Ad Hominem
9:40-13. Obama continues to state what Romney "said" and how he continues to change his opinion. He also appears to be attacking Romney instead of the subject.

  10. AT 50 minutes.
Argumentun Misericordium (Argument or appeal to pity.)
Obama is explaining everything he has done so people will pity him and agree that what he has done is noble and kind. In being kind, people will vote for him to win.
