a vision of students today*

(*Actually, this video was posted in 2007.  And I'm not sure what's most interesting at this point-- the video itself or the comments to it.  Thoughts?)

  1. wow... I thought that this video was interesting because I can kind of relate to it cause I go to school, work, study for my classes, and the next day I start over. Now that I think of it it makes me want to ask my friends that are in college and see how there experience and if this applies to them.

  2. Many of these questions can't be answered, but I guess that's the point. "I didn't create these problems, but they are MY problems". I like that message. Telling people to understand that yes, there are problems that were created by people who ;ived before us, and yes it's unfair that we have to face them and they don't. But let's do something about it. Now personally, I'm neither for or against the use of technology for everything. I like the way technology makes everything global. Communication, collaboration, all fantastic. Not sure about all the negatives it brings. Great video though.

  3. I believe that technology is the key to being more successful. Like today's essay. I used my iPad to write it all out, email it to too you get feedback and had time to revise my whole essay. If I did that with a piece of paper I would have been stuck with what I originally wrote.

Btw I can final comment to your posts with my iPad!!!

  4. Technology can save us but we have to put in work too, Matt. Also when I read "I didn't create problems, but they are MY problems" it actually reminded me of something that Albert Einstein said, "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we created them."
